About me
Sridhar has over 20 years of experience working in technical and management roles in startups and large companies in Silicon Valley Bay Area. Before joining Equinix to lead the API program, he was a Distinguished Engineer and a Chief Architect at other companies. He is a lead inventor of several patents and a speaker at industry conferences.
At Equinix, Sridhar created the API strategy, API standards, best practices and API governance from the ground up. He created the API automation architecture and led the development of an in-house API tool. He advises and reviews the API designs of various products from Engineering teams across the company. Through his evangelization and guidance, Equinix witnessed widespread adoption of the API standards, resulting in improved API quality and the transformation of Equinix into an API-First company. In recognition of his outstanding efforts, he was honored with the Innovative Problem Solver award.
Sridhar holds an MS in Computer Science from University of Florida and a BS in Computer Science & Engineering from NIT (National Institute of Technology), Warangal, India.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Sridhar is deeply committed to giving back to society and actively volunteers at several non-profit organizations. In his leisure time, he enjoys engaging in activities such as tennis, yoga, and running, having participated in numerous marathons.
