Arun Narasimhan is a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead Manager at Google with over ten years of experience in software development.
Arun was the Engineering Manager of the Spam & Abuse fighting team for the ‘Google Messages’ product which has 5B+ downloads on the Android PlayStore, where his team shipped server-side features and on-device ML models to protect users from spam and abuse.
Prior to that, he built and launched the Google Device Access platform which enables developers and partners to access and control Google Nest devices, including integrations like Alexa and Samsung. He was Google's camera integration tech lead for the ADT + Google Nest collaboration to build a security solution that leverages Google's smarts to enhance ADT's security services and was an innovation award winner at CES 2023.
Arun has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
